Amazing Mario Crap From the Far East
Here’s another submission in the “crazy amazing happy fun Japanese crap” category. It’s a video of a custom level that some dude created in Super Mario World. His work propels Mario through various obstacles and worlds to produce sound effects in such a way as to perfectly accompany some crazy Japanese pop song. It just keep going and going in a perfect mashup of video games, nostalgia, and weird Japanese shit.

Classic SNL
Perhaps a little weird to associate the likes of Andy Samberg and Bill Hader with the words “Classic SNL”, but I think that these guys will ultimately go down as some the show’s funniest products along with the likes of Bill Murray, John Belushi, and Chris Farley. Anyway, a coworker brought this video from a few years ago to my attention today. Seems appropriate given Shia LeBeouf’s current place in pop culture and the new Indiana Jones movie.
Hysterical in its own right, but especially funny if you were on the OC bandwagon a few years ago (from which it drew its inspiration):
Youtube Find: So Pitted!
I think I’m a few months behind on this one, but I just came across an amazing video from a west coast news broadcast. In it, the Fox 11 News team gets a local surfer’s insight into recent flooding:
Snap-AHHHH!
Drunk History
Another exceptional YouTube find today. Here, semi-famous actors act out scenes from American history as they’re being recounted by extremely drunk narrators. This episode features Michael Cera as Alexander Hamilton.
I think I enjoyed volume 2 even more, where a famous tale involving Ben Franklin is acted out by Jack Black.
